Tumpane proudly showcased some of the school’s talent today. Mr. Belotto and Ms. Bair organized the 10th Tumpane Idol, which gave the school community an opportunity to see the talent at our school: singers, dancers and musicians all bravely took to the stage. Well done to all the students who performed!
All parents and school community members are invited to attend an information session on EQAO testing. This event will be held on Thursday, March 29th, at 6:30pm in the Tumpane school library. To view the EQAO Information Night flyer, click here.
Parents, students and teachers had a wonderful time on Friday at Tumpane’s winter carnival. From races to crafts, from food to fun, it was a great day for everyone involved. We thank Ms. Henderson for her leadership in organizing the event, and to all teachers, staff, and parents who helped make the day a fun and safe event. Ms. James and her students provided a presentation that celebrated the achievements of African Americans and African Canadians. The students performed and sang, “Wade in the Water.” Afterwards, the students were treated to a lovely snack: a perfect ending to their efforts as a group, as friends, and as a school community.
